Sunday In FL

Sunday July 19th was another wonderful day with my family. We packed up the family and headed back to West Bay Beach Club for a day of riding the wave runners, swimming and a picnic. We ended the evening with another yummy salad that Aunt Linda put together and pizza.

Saturday In FL

Saturday July 18th I was feeling so much better. So we checked out of Embassy Suites and headed back to John and Linda's. We spent the afternoon at the private West Bay Beach House, which is located on the famed Hickory Island, with 200 feet of pristine beachfront. Attentive beach side service and delicious food and cocktails at The Loggerhead Grille were ours to enjoy. Saturday evening we had a nice meal at the house. Aunt Linda's salad was wonderful.

Trevor, myself and Aunt Linda. We are leaving Embassy Suites. We are behind on our beach time, since I was out of commission on Friday.

Friday In FL

Friday July 17th was not a good day. I ended up getting sick Friday morning around 1:00am. Matt was sick on Sunday. Trevor was sick on Wednesday, and then I got it on Friday. Anyway, I was throwing up and diarrhea. It was awful. My Mom, Trevor and I ended up checking into Embassy Suites Friday about 1:00pm. We did not want my Aunt and Uncle getting sick. My Mom and Aunt were wonderful. They took Trevor swimming and down to happy hour, while I slept. Finally around 10:00pm Friday night I felt like I could stand to shower. Then I went right back to bed. Not the way I wanted to start my vacation. The only positive to this was I lost five pounds.

We Made It To FL

Thursday July 16th, Trevor and I had a very long day. We flew out of PHX into Chicago Midway. Trevor was the best 14 month old ever. Once we reached 10,000 feet he was asleep until about 15 minutes before we touched down. It was awesome. We had a two hour layover which was actually nice. It gave us a chance to grab some lunch and Trevor could run around. On the flight from Chicago Midway to Fort Myers Trevor enjoyed walking up and down the aisle about five times and saying hi to everyone on the flight. Then he had some milk and was done. Again, until about 15 minutes before touching down. My Mom and Aunt Linda were at the airport to greet us. It was wonderful to see them. This was my second time to fly with Trevor. The first time he was two months old. At that was to NE.

Asha And Sara Came To Our Home

Thursday evening, July 9th, Asha & Sara made a trip out to our home in Mesa. They flew in from Omaha on Wednesday to take care of some wedding arrangements. It was so nice they made some time for us. They even showed up with an ice cream cake on a day that brought us 115 degrees. What sweeties they are! It was great seeing them both, hopefully we can hook up with them in September when we are back in NE.

Independence Day

Saturday July 4th was a very relaxing day for us. We did some swimming, grilled out and went to Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek, AZ to watch the fireworks.

We watched the fireworks celebration at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek, AZ this year. They had water slides, bounce houses entertainment and games. It was $10.00 per car, and 100% went to charity.

Pasadena/Encino, CA

On Tuesday June 30th we were in Pasadena, CA with Matt on business. On our way back home we stopped by the Stadium and the Jackson Family Compound.
Rose Bowl Stadium

Look at all of these media trucks and paparazzi that are camped out all along their street. It was crazy and sad. The Jackson family is in my thoughts and prayers. Michale Jackson is the Elvis of our time. I grew up with his music.
