Trevor Is 15 Months

Friday July 24th was a big day for Trevor. We started the morning out with his Fifteen-Month Checkup. An assessment of his growth (height 30 inches, weight 23 lbs. head circumference) since his last visit. These findings were plotted on his growth chart and Trevor's weight for height were evaluated and compared to previous measurements. The Dr. preformed an informal assessment, based on observation and our interview, of physical and intellectual development, and of hearing and vision. Trevor is walking well (started at 13 months). He can bend over and pick up an object. But, when it comes to using at least 1 word, besides Mama and Dada, that is not happening right now. So we will see the Dr. in six weeks. Matt and I just keep talking with him all day long and reading to him. I know it will come, but as a parent when the Dr. brings something like this to your attention you get nervous.

Trevor can drink from a cup. Points to a desired object. Points to a body part when we ask him to. Uses a spoon (but not exclusively).

Trevor did receive three shots. Hepatitis B, Diphtheria, Tetanus, acellular Pertussis and Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine 7 valent. Wow!

In the afternoon he attended his Gymboree class. So all in all he had a long day. After dinner it was bath and bed. He was exhausted, and so was I.

Soaking Up Our Last Few Hours In FL

Tuesday July 21st was our last day in FL. And it was a early/long day. We were at Doc's Beach House for breakfast by 8:00am. Then spent a couple hours playing on the beach. We then had to head back to the house and finish packing plus getting myself and Trevor cleaned up. Our flight left Ft. Myers at 2:10pm. RSW/MCO MCO/PHX. Trevor did a great job flying. I could not have asked for a better 14 month old. I thank God every day for him. Uncle Mark was kind to pick us up in PHX. We had a wonderful time in FL. It was great to see Uncle John, Aunt Linda and Cousin John.

Trevor giving Grandma Gail a kiss! What a sweet baby boy!

Mommy and Trevor spent their last morning at the beach.

Trevor and Uncle Mark. Mark was so kind and picked us up at the PHX airport. So I bought him Chipotle and he stayed and had dinner with us.

Monday In FL

Monday July 20th ended up being a rainy morning/afternoon. Which truly was ok. We took naps. And it was nice to hear the thunder/rain since we don't get that very often in AZ. We did spend the early evening at the beach watching the sunset and having dinner at Doc's Beach house.

I had to write Trevor's name in the sand

This sweet little girl Bailey came over and wanted to be friends with Trevor.

Trevor really wants to pull Baileys hair. Grandma Gail is trying to protect Bailey. Trevor is really rough with our dogs (pulling their hair). So he thinks he can pull my hair and anyone else's hair. We are trying to teach him to be gentle.
