Park of the Canals
Saturday February 13th, 2010 Trevor and I spent the morning at Park of the Canals here in Mesa, AZ. This thirty-one-acre park featured the ancient canal systems of the Prehistoric Hohokam Indians. Trevor enjoyed the large playground and we walked through the desert botanical garden that featured trees, shrubs, and more than twenty-five varieties of prickly pear cacti. Our dear friend Ryan Krings was out for the weekend from NE. So he and Matt were taking advantage of the 81 degree temps and golfing.
