McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park

Wednesday March 24th 2010, Lisa and I took the boys to a wonderful railroad park in Scottsdale. This park encompasses thirty centrally located acres at the southeast corner of Scottsdale and Indian Bend Roads, this railroad park offers a wonderful experience for train lovers of all ages. We took a few mile-long train rides behind a 5/12-scale steam locomotive, checked out historic exhibits, and took a spin on a historic merry-go-round. The children especially enjoyed the Western fort, complete with a wrought-iron stagecoach. We did have a picnic to add to our fun day.
