Monday August 24th was not a fun day for Trevor. I ended up taking him into the Dr. late in the afternoon. He was running a temp of 103. Trevor pretty much slept the whole day and just wanted to be held by his Mommy. Which I did not mind one bit. Matt flew out Sunday morning for Tahoe. I was so sad Trevor and I did not make the trip with him. But, it all worked out for the better. Since my little man ended up sick.
Trevor is now imitating actions that he sees Matt and I do. Trevor likes to stand in front of the big mirror in our bedroom and look at himself. Trevor does like to scribble when crayons and paper are made available to him. Trevor's words are starting to come. At least 6 by now. Go, Go, Go! Cheese! Cracker! Hot! Juice! All Done! Trevor will carry his dirty diaper to the door for us. Then when we open the door he will dump the diaper in the garage. So nice of him to help out. Trevor will run if he thinks Matt and or I are going to go outside without him. He loves to help take the dogs out back to go potty. Trevor will kick a ball forward. Trevor loves to have his teeth brushed. I try and hand the tooth brush to him, but he likes to hand the tooth brush back for me to brush his teeth. I won't complain.

Chicken Pot Pie Pasta
You can use turkey in place of the chicken. It was very good! I hope you and your family enjoy.
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons flour, divided
3/4 teaspoon salt, divided
3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, divided
1 pound chicken or turkey cutlets, cut in half crosswise
4 tablespoons butter, divided
2 cups chicken broth
3 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1/2 cup reduced-fat sour cream
1 (16-ounce) package angel hair pasta, cooked according to package directions and kept warm
In a shallow dish, combine 1/4 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Dredge turkey or chicken in flour mixture.
In a large nonstick skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add turkey or chicken, and cook for 2 minutes per side, in batches, if necessary. Remove from pan; set aside, and keep warm.
Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter in skillet. Whisk in remaining 2 tablespoons flour until mixture is smooth. Cook for 2 minutes, whisking constantly. Gradually whisk in chicken broth. Stir in vegetables; cook for 10 minutes. Mixture should be thickened and bubbly. Stir in sour cream, remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt, and remaining 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Serve turkey or chicken over hot cooked pasta. Top with vegetable mixture.

Arizona Museum For Youth
On August 20th, Dawn and I took the children to lunch at Paradise Bakery and then the museum to play. The Arizona Museum for Youth, serves families and children from birth to 12 years of age, features changing art exhibitions and hands-on activities that introduce basic art elements. The ArtVille Gallery, especially designed for visitors under 5 years of age, is a dazzling cityscape made up of larger-than-life paint tubes, crayons, brushes, and rulers-a child-friendly village that cultivates awareness of color, line, shape, and texture.
Dawn and Claire did not waste anytime. They started playing right away.
